NCEA Results
National
Certificate of Educational Achievement
Congratulations to all
students who performed exceptionally well during 2007 to produce yet
another year of excellent NCEA results. The statistics below are
taken from the NZQA webpage as recorded on January 27th 2007.
Also, as the statistics are
based on the school roll as at 1st July, the actual figures below are
higher because students who either left school or moved to a different
area after that date without remaining to complete their qualifications
are counted in the percentage grades.
The endorsement of
certificates with merit or excellence began in 2007.

Level 3: Students must
obtain 60 credits at level 3 and a further 20 credits from any level.
These results exclude adult students. In order to pass level
3, you have to take subjects where 60 level 3 credits can be gained.
Not all students want to or need to take these subjects in order to
achieve what they want. Some students do a mixture of level 1-3 subjects which helps them meet their own goals, but wouldn't let them
complete level 3.
